The plays are:

Amy Elliot's Play
(Written by Amy Elliot and directed by Leslie Stelwagon)
The play, as you know, is the story of a young man, two years out of college, with no direction in life, who decides
to host a cocktail party to formally announce his intention to decide his fate, or rather to let his fate be decided for him. A captivating drama about the nature of free will and how we decide to decide things.

Under the Red White and Blue
(Written by Sarah Bowden and directed by Erik Eddy)
The story of a woman named Christine who has just been fired from her waitressing job and must explain why to her already worn out electrician boyfriend Clark. Underneath, it's more about how Christine doesn't really know what she wants to do, and so only follows society's ideas for her. In essence, it's about not letting society make your choices for you.

Babel
(Written by Brian Gruhn and directed by Selus Bessinger)
What happens when Earth's creators contract the planet out to the lowest bidding deities? Some funny and, hopefully, some learny. The winner of rave reviews from the writing class it was created in, don't miss Brian Gruhn's solo writing premiere that is sure to leave you in stitches! Special Note: If you already have stitches, please do not remove them before the show.

Who is Ruth?
(Written by Matthew J. Hanson and directed by Lily Brislen)
A woman goes in for a job interview, expecting to find the typical questions about experience and qualifications. Instead she finds something much more insidious.

The Communication Age
(Written by Matthew J. Hanson and directed by Lily Brislen)
Can an instant messenger romance survive? Can you by love at Amazon.com? In our efforts to "reach out and touch someone" have we lost touch? All these issues and more are explored in this witty romantic satire. And all in just ten minutes.

Help Wanted has a limited engagement of two performances: Sunday December 7th, and Wednesday December 10th. Both shows are at 7:00 pm in the Wilson Theatre of the Beloit College campus.

Steve Wright will be there. So should you.
